Terms and Conditions
1. Deposits and Payment of Safari
– A deposit of 50% of the daily rates or package price for the entire duration of the safari is required to secure the booking.
– The balance of the total daily rate or package price must be paid 45 days before the commencement of the safari.
– Trophy fees, Value Added Taxes (VAT), and any additional costs will be calculated upon completion of the safari and are payable prior to departure from the concession area.
– Ntate Le Mora Safaris reserves the right to retain trophies as surety if any outstanding payments remain at the end of the safari.
2. Reservations and Bookings
– A safari is only confirmed in our calendar upon receipt of the deposit along with a signed Safari Contract.
– No booking will be finalized without the signed contract.
– By paying the deposit and signing the contract, the client agrees to all terms and conditions stated herein.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
– Deposits (less a 10% administration fee) are refundable if cancellation is received in writing at least 180 days before the safari’s commencement.
– Cancellations made within 90 days but before 60 days of the safari commencement are refundable with a 20% administration fee deduction.
– Cancellations within 60 days of the safari result in forfeiture of the deposit unless the safari is rescheduled within one calendar year.
– Late arrivals or early departures are non-refundable.
– In the unlikely event of a cancellation by Ntate Le Mora Safaris, all deposits will be refunded in full.
4. Changes in Program
– Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, government levies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
– Ntate Le Mora Safaris reserves the right to move clients to alternative camps or hunting areas to optimize the safari experience.
– Clients agree to share camps with other hunting parties unless private accommodations have been prearranged.
5. Requirements for Hunters and Observers
– All participants must sign a Safari Hunting Indemnity Agreement before starting the safari.
– Clients must have a valid passport with at least six months’ validity remaining and sufficient blank pages for visas.
– It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all travel documents, vaccinations, and insurances (medical evacuation, trip cancellation, theft, or trophy loss) are in order.
6. Liability
– Ntate Le Mora Safaris is not liable for losses or damages arising from sickness, quarantine, weather, war, strikes, or any events beyond its control.
– The safari outfitter accepts no liability for death, injury, or property loss due to negligence or any other cause.
– The client is responsible for all shipping fees and documentation related to trophy transportation.
7. General Terms
– All safaris are subject to quota availability and government regulations.
– Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
– Payment of the deposit implies agreement to all terms and conditions.
– Clients are expected to adhere to local laws and regulations. Any misconduct will result in immediate removal from the safari without refund.
8. Payment Information
– Payments are accepted via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or cash.
– All fees are quoted in US Dollars and payable at the prevailing exchange rate on the final day of the safari.
– Clients must confirm account details with Ntate Le Mora Safaris to avoid fraudulent transactions. Payments made to incorrect accounts remain the client’s responsibility.
